Pay As You Go SEO Search Engine Optimisation Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions are set out and apply solely to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) services offered by Pay As You Go SEO. Full terms and conditions can be found here.
1. Terms of business
These terms and conditions apply and are legally binding whilst Pay As You Go SEO supply in services to you (the customer) in relation to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
2. Period of Contract
Contracts run for an initial 3 month period, and then rolling 30 days unless otherwise stated in the Pay As You Go SEO Order Form, and can be cancelled in writing by either party subject to a 2 month notice period at any time.
3. Services Provided
Pay As You Go SEO will have the ability to optimise the structure and content of clients’ web pages if needed. Such changes generally have a minimal visual impact. Pay As You Go SEO will work directly with the client in order to maintain the original look and feel of your website.
4. Submitting to the Search Engines
The Client grants authority to submit the web site pages being promoted, to search engines and directories, and must allow implementation of all optimisation strategies on their website.
5. Site Access
The client must provide Pay As You Go SEO with log-on information (username and password), if needed, to gain FTP access to the website. Pay As You Go SEO will maintain confidentiality of log-in information. Webmasters must be informed by the client, informing them that Pay As You Go SEO have access to the Web site and are performing SEO services on the site.
6. Matters relevant to the campaign
Any SEO work that Pay As You Go SEO undertakes may be detrimentally affected if the Client has:
a. Employed another Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Company to work on the web site at the same time
b. Requested or exchanged links with link farms or undertaken any spamming techniques which may harm the web site’s ranking with Google or other Search Engines
c. Created any duplicate sites, duplicate content or pages, redirects or doorway pages
d. Employed the services of a Submission Company during the same period
e. Any other additional SEO or SEM related activity
7. Pay As You Go SEO may make void any campaign and any outstanding balance becomes payable should it be discovered that the client has participated in actions considered undesirable by the Search Engines, such as hidden links, links to link-farms, FFA link pages, redirect or cloaking techniques, submissions the web pages of the site to the search engines, search directories or other websites without the consent of Pay As You Go SEO, use of automated web site submission software or automated reciprocal link programs.
8. Social Platform Accounts
The social platform accounts that Pay As You Go SEO have created belong to Pay As You Go SEO, and upon cancellation of the contract, these accounts can be purchased for a fee no more than three months worth of the fee paid for monthly SEO.
9. Payment for services/Method of Payment
Ongoing fees are payable monthly by agreed Standing Order within the set due date period (5th of each month unless otherwise stated) as detailed on invoice. Alternatively, Cheque or Bank Transfer payment options can be used payable up front on a 3 monthly basis.
10. Non Payment
Pay As You Go SEO reserves the right to suspend a campaign following non receipt of ongoing fees. Your obligations to pay accrued charges and fees, if applicable, shall survive any termination of this agreement.
11. Guarantees
No guarantees will be given as to a client’s site position in the search engines as the search engines change their ranking algorithms on a regular basis. Additionally, both new sites and competitor sites may be being optimised and submitted everyday.
12. Liability
The client is responsible for ensuring that your web site is always active and accessible.
13. This agreement shall be subject to English law.
